801 Projects is the collaboration of two visual artists Angela Valella and Nereida Garcia Ferraz. Over the past years they have worked on several cross-disciplinary projects addressing current issues as urban displacement and excess. It also functions as a vital space with elaborate and flexible contemporary possible solutions.

Founded in 2005, 801 Projects is a collaborative art endeavor that initiates and supports critical exchange of ideas in art and cultural practice and the active development by artists and in-situ exhibitions such as Matinée, Imperfect Fortuna, Archives, Why Are We Here, Vista Color, La Bodega, Artists Throwing The House Thru The Window Art Fair/ La Lagunilla Book Sale.

801 Projects have collaborated and worked closely with artists and musicians, as well as, many artistic and cultural projects. We offer studio classes in Miami, FL to prepare students for magnet art schools and assist in portfolio development for the students to present at art colleges and universities. In the past two years we have worked with Miami-Dade County Public Schools offering master plan points courses for teacher certification and creating a space for student participation and exhibitions.

801 Projects questions the art production and elaborates flexible solutions.
